Through the closed basic form, which is followed by a fan-like, opening unit, dynamic opening and static closure are thematized. After an initial intervention in which the wood is cut into thin slices, Lars Zech leaves it back to its own powers: This too is a change between active and passive, a change between control and uncontrolled development, which underlines the inherent dynamics of the wood creates an attractive, exciting comparison of different tendencies and impulses. Whether these works should be seen in a figurative or purely abstract context remains an open question and can be decided individually.
